I am a Microbial Biology major at UC Berkeley pursuing a career in the biotechnology industry. Science has been a passion of mine since I was young. As my academic journey progresses, I have fine tuned my interest to cellular and Microbial Biology and had the opportunity to involve myself in several different researches at UC Berkeley. These positions allowed me to be comfortable in lab settings, from executing simple plant and insect care to extracting and amplifying fungal DNA. I believe a sustainable approach to science will be a crucial component in tackling the changing future of our environment and I would be delighted to contribute to this cause with my bachelor degree in Microbial biology.
